00 Who is Abhinav Sandilya
Abhinav Sandilya is a digital marketing consultant and growth operator who helps D2C and global brands turn marketing into a system that compounds. I started in retail sales in 2013 and worked my way up through SEO, lead generation and agency management into senior growth and project roles — handling budgets assigned directly by brands like NVIDIA, Corsair and DeepCool. I'm a practitioner, not a theorist: I've executed nearly every part of the funnel myself, and I value honesty over hype.
01 The journey
Core, hands-on expertise across hardware, gaming and computer peripherals — from product prototype to market launch. Worked on 20+ Ant Esports products. Acro is a 1500+ crore group that owns 6+ companies (~100 crore each). Handled projects and budgets assigned directly by NVIDIA, DeepCool, XPG and Corsair, coordinating with in-house teams across companies, and owned KPI, reporting and budget decks. Also ran Pet Baba (initial marketing), Iki Chic fashion (direct 6X ROAS), Prolabs and the AntPC project, while supporting 100+ major hardware retailers across India. Managed ₹20–30 lakh in ad spend monthly (minimum ~$6K).
Deep exposure to the F&B world — cafe and fine-dine restaurant chains, their operations and logistics. Print media, menu design, Google Analytics, Meta campaigns, and large-scale influencer marketing and management. Ran Amazon sales for in-house snack products and frequent on-site shoots for decor and video. Managed a team of 4, reporting to the brand manager and working one-on-one with top management. My first unicorn company — pan-India operations.
Cyber-security fundamentals and why they matter. Lead generation, website management, and teaching digital-marketing classes to students. Social media management, video creation and strategy, full budget allocation — and a consistent 7X ROAS maintained for a full year.
A pure IT & marketing agency where I executed everything I'd learned — leading a team of 4 and managing 8+ clients single-handedly across verticals. Brought clients to the table, generated leads, built Google & Meta campaigns, websites and optimisation, strategy, competitor analysis, and all content (text, graphic, video) myself. Client management, risk management, ROI & ROAS optimisation, high-bid campaigns and multiple ad accounts.
Industry-grade custom software and the workings of SAP. Organic B2B lead generation with large organisations like T-Series, JSW Group and R.R. Cables. Honest note: I moved on within a couple of quarters — pure B2B didn't suit me as well as broader growth marketing.
Where I learned SEO end-to-end — on-page and off-page, blog writing, keyword analysis, CMS website creation, Meta ads, the pillars of SEO, backlink building and interlinking. Sold software internationally through submissions, and learned email-migration software, a wide range of email file types (PST, OST and more), DA/PA and schema.
My first step into digital marketing after 3 years in core sales — as a certified digital marketer with a full diploma. Learned the real purpose and execution of online marketing: social media account management, budget handling, and what ROI actually means.
Brand selling and fashion retail on the floor — building the customer instinct that still shapes how I market today.
